In this dataset, we present the severity (BIRADS) and pathology classifications of patients from our User Tests and Analysis 4 (UTA4) study.
The dataset is part of the work done by SIPg, an ISR-Lisboa research group, and ITI, two R&D Units of LARSyS. The project also involves the collaborative effort of INESC-ID. Both ISR-Lisboa and INESC-ID are Associate Laboratories of IST from ULisboa. This dataset will be used in BreastScreening, MIDA and MIMBCD-UI projects.
The UTA4: Severity & Pathology Classifications Dataset consists of a study to report the real severity (BIRADS) and pathology classifications of our patients. The study was performed with 31 clinicians from several clinical institutions in Portugal. The number of participants and respective institutions are: (1) 8 clinicians from Hospital Fernando Fonseca; (2) 12 clinicians from IPO-Lisboa; (3) 1 clinician from Hospital de Santa Maria; (4) 8 clinicians from IPO-Coimbra; (5) 1 clinician from Madeira Medical Center; and (6) 1 clinician from SAMS. Clinicians' experience ranged from 5 to 30 years of medical practice. Recruited specialists are in advanced career positions. Participants were observed and interviewed in a semi-structured fashion.
